Why get a Consultation?

You might be wondering why consultations are such an important step. After all, you could just pick out flowers you like and simply order them for your wedding. I believe everyone who’s getting married should get a consultation with a florist because of three reasons.

One, everyone should feel special on their wedding Day. At Rose Cottage, I understand that, and that’s why I ensure that your Wedding Flowers are designed ‘Just For You’. With our services, you won’t ever have to worry about your floral arrangements looking like other ceremonies.

Number two, consultations are a great way for you to explore your likes and dislikes, to explore and experience all the options open to you. Looking at a bouquet over the internet doesn’t offer you the same.

Finally, apart from yourselves, your flowers are what will feature in most of your photographs. If you want to make your Wedding Day memorable and spectacular, book a free, no-obligation consultation with me to discuss how we can make your flower arrangements look amazing over a cup of tea and a slice of delicious homemade cake!

What to expect during a Consultation.

Before your wedding, you might have a few questions about your floral arrangements. Maybe you’re not sure what’s in season, how much arrangements cost, what different types of arrangements are available. The consultation provides an opportunity for you to get answers to whatever questions you might have, and for me to know more about you, your likes and dislikes.

A consultation typically takes about an hour. During that period, I take time to truly understand what your preferences are. I can gain an understanding of what impact you wish your floral arrangements to make. Do you want your flowers to be flirty or daring, do you want bold colors or lighter pastels? Over a cup of tea, you can share these details with me. Gradually you introduce me to your wedding day. By getting to know every element of your wedding, the style of your dress and the shade of colour on your wedding stationery. I can design floral bouquets and arrangements that will complement your wedding perfectly.

After a thorough consultation, I will provide you with a proposal, which details and illustrates a floral design plan for your wedding.
