Funeral Floristry (Module 4)
Module 4 is 3 days of hands on as well as theory learning. You will gain skills, knowledge, techniques and tricks of the trade to create stunning funeral tributes. These will be great to add to your portfolio.
This module forms part of my ‘Train to be a Florist’ programme, but can be completed as a stand alone module. Whilst some people feel they don’t want to learn how to do funeral flowers as they want to focus on weddings, the skills learned are transferrable from funerals to weddings and also your bride may ask you to do a funeral arrangement for a relative.
Wreaths can also be used in any situation.
Over the 3 days you will learn how to create
- a based cushion
- a tied sheaf
- a double ended spray
- a letter
- a posy pad
- a wreath or open heart
You will also learn how to carry out a funeral flower consultation, how to price items, how to order to maximise profit and everything related to the theory of funeral floristry.
Lunch is included
All flowers and containers are included and materials required to complete the projects
An apron and tools are included to use during the session
